Florida Cosmetology License Practice Exam

Upon passing the state board for cosmetology, an applicant receives a license to practice cosmetology. This is the official document that allows an individual to legally work as a cosmetologist. Option A, Certificate of Completion, may be given by a school or training program, but it is not the official license. Option C, Degree in Cosmetology, refers to a higher education degree which is not required for cosmetology licensure. Option D, Membership to the Cosmetology Association, is not necessary to practice cosmetology, but may provide networking opportunities and resources for professionals in the industry.
